The Azlanii

This was the third outing for the group. This time another species of Rafflesia drove us to Ulu Dong. We going to Rafflesia spot called Kenau. Its a 2 km distance from Ulu Dong. Going there halfway by car, and another half we have to walk. Tracking only takes about 30 min to the spot.This is the recent new species Rafflesia Azlanii, the name was given after Sultan Azlan Shah because it was first found in Royal Belum Forest in Perak.

The Rafflesia Cantleyi (01.01.2010)

This is the second outing for the club take place in Ulu Dong.9 of us take part in the jungle tracking that takes about 20 minutes to reach the rafflesia.It was an easy tracking by the river banks, not very tiring yet fascinate by nature around.We come across a few nice plants and trees including hundred of years Tualang.We were lucky because we found the 6 paragon (petals) rafflesia which is so rare, at normal rafflesia only have 5 paragon.

Ekspedisi Pertama

[06 Disember 2009] Pengembaraan bermula di sini..... GUA KECHIL. Lokasi kira-kira 20 minit berjalan kaki dari Kampung Tok Machang, Mukim Gali II, Raub Pahang.

Ekspedisi diketuai Penggerak Belia Parlimen Raub (ketika itu), Nur Syahriman Shaharuddin yang juga tenaga pengajar 'rock climbing' di sana.

Turut serta seorang yang menggelarkan dirinya AKU PENUNGGU GUA dalam salah satu slot rancangan Galeri Nasional (RTM1) pada 11 Januari 2010, Jusoh Sulaiman a.k.a KONDY.
